Justice League of America

I am turning into a comic book nerd and so go along with this I have done DC comic book hero nails. My favorite comic book maker is DC so it was only right I did these first. I will being doing Marvel soon for all you Marvel people.

Pumpkins

I know Halloween has passed but I though I would still share my Halloween nails with you :) Its a time of year I love as you get to dress up and be creative. I hope you enjoy these nails :)

Giraffe

These nails are cute and quirky. Rather than having giraffe print all over my nails I though I could do make them more interesting so I did a giraffes neck and head :)

M&Ms

I am really sorry I have been gone for soooooooo long, life just gets in the way and i have not had loads of inspiration for nail art but don’t worry I am back and with some cute ideas :)

Here are some M&M nails I did a while ago I forgot to post them but I though better late than never. I would do a step by step guide but I do not know what products I used and I think its fairly self explanatory.

Cosmic nails

I am back for good :D I am so sorry its been so long I had final deadlines for course work and 7 lots of As exams to revise and do. So I have been very busy and Ninja Nails got put to one side but I am back with these super cool Cosmic nails :)

I hope you all enjoyed these galaxy nails. I am sorry for the mess around the skin this design is a little messy as you use a sponge. 

Internet Browsers

This weeks design has been long awaited. I have been so busy with course work I mean I have so much it so horrible at times. But anyway how i have this nerdy nail art look for you. Inspired by internet browsers.

Apple Vs Andriod

You will need:

  • Base coat
  • White polish
  • Green polish
  • Silver polish
  • Black polish
  • Top coat
  • Small dotting tool
  • Large dotting tool

I used:

  • Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Topcoat
  • Natural Collection in Nail Tip Whitener
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in 430 Grass Slipper
  • Rimmel in 239 Your Majesty
  • Sure Promise nail art pen in Black
  • Sally Hansen Mega Shine

So let’s get started…

1. Apply a base coat or nail strengthener.

2. Apply two to three coats of white nail polish on your thumb middle and pinkie finger nail. Apply silver to the rest. 

3. On your finger nails that are white we are going to paint the android. Start with a semi circle for the head. Use a lime green colour for this. 

4. Draw a square or rectangle under this for the robots body.

5. Time for the legs, arms and antennae. 

      

6. Using white nail polish and a dotting tool give the android robot two eyes. These go on the semi circles. 

7. On the silver nails its time to create the apple logo. Start with the basic apple shape like below. 

8. Add the stalk to the apple. 

9. Using the same silver colour create a bit shape. 

10. Simple add a top coat so your nerdy manicure can last all week long :)

Ipods

I was looking for inspiration the other day and right in fount of me was my iPod and I though it was perfect for a nail look. So I give you iPod nails, These are the iPod nano 3rd gene. 

You will need:

  • Base coat
  • Top coat
  • Small dotting tool
  • Large dotting tool

I used:

  • Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Topcoat
  • Rimmel in 872 Climax
  • Zoya in Areetha
  • Laval in Ultra Orange
  • CCUK in 350 Neon Blue
  • Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine in 03 Glow
  • Natural Collection in Hibiscus
  • Models Own in Pearly Queen
  • Sure Promise nail art pen in White 
  • Sure Promise nail art pen in Black
  • Sally Hansen Mega Shine

So let’s get started…

1. Apply a base coat or nail strengthener.

2. Apply a variety of colours on different nails. Peary or shimmer finished work best for this. 

3. Using white polish create a square at the top of the nail. This will be the Ipod screen.

   

4. Using black polish and a stripier brush out like the white box.

   

5. Using white polish create a circle at the bottom of the nail this will be the dile and buttons.

   

6. Using the same colour as the nail create a small circle inside the big one.  

   

7. Add a top coat to finish the design :)

Converse

This converse design has been long awaited. I am a huge converse fan and own a few pair including costume ones. I know cute polish has decently done this design but i swear I painted my nail like this before she put her video up I just did not get around to posting them before her. 

You will need:

  • Base coat
  • Pink polish
  • Green polish
  • Purple polish
  • Blue polish
  • Yellow polish
  • White polish
  • Black polish
  • Top coat
  • Small dotting tool
  • Large dotting tool

I used:

  • Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Topcoat
  • Natural Collection in Hibiscus
  • Natural Collection in Cosmic Crush
  • Natural Collection in Nail Tip  Whitener
  • Barry M in Yellow
  • Barry M in Cyan Blue
  • Barry M in Spring Green
  • Sure Promise nail art pen in White
  • Sure Promise nail art pen in Black
  • Sally Hansen Mega Shine

So let’s get started…

1. Apply a base coat or nail strengthener.

2. Apply a different shade of polish on each of your nails.

3. Create a rounded french tip like below.

  

4. Using black polish and a dotting tool create some dots for where the show laces will be. If you use silver it would be better but I forgot.

  

5. Using a black polish and a stripier brush create the lining on the rubber cap. 

  

6. Using white polish and a stripier brush create some shoe laces following the steps below by following the pictures. 

  

7. Add a top coat and you are done :)
