This nail art is Star Wars themed, I am a big fan and a few years ago got a Star Wars advent calendar :D which set off my love. So I give you R2D2 nails :)
Unfortunately my index fnger got smuched and a black line ruined it :(

I hope you enjoyed these nails and check back soon for my Nerdy nails :)
I am a huge fan of Pop Art and I though Id make my nails look like they where part of a painting. This nails have been popular on youtube but I though id give them ago :) I made my nails matte so that they looked more realistic and part of a painting and I am currently loving the look of matte nails.

I hop you all enjoyed this nail art and come back soon for more exciting and unique nail art :)
These nails are inspired by a mix of Pop Art and fizzy drinks. I was watching professionalDQ on Youtube the other day and really liked her Cherry Pop Art Nails so I though Id give them ago and give them my spin on them. I chose to do lemonade and orangeade :)
I chose to do to nails wit the FIZZ as I really like Pop Art. I also chose to do black dots and add a yellow glitter twist.
On the nails that are ment to represent the Lemonade and Orangeade I chose a smile colour with glitter and some bubbles. These where copied from ProfessionalDQ.
I have done this design twice know and I though Id show you the first ones that are a little chipped :(

The second attempted :)

I hope you enjoyed this nail design and enjoy the sunny weather :)
I have seen these nails around for awhile and was not sure how to do them or what they where called. I decided to do some research on them and decided to give spun nails ago. I think the tool I used to do the spun nails where to big therefore the look not quite turning out how I would have liked.
I have decided to do a white with a lime green and aqua blue and black matte base colour with a glossy colour for the spun effect on top.

Hope you all enjoyed this simple design. Check back soon for lots more such as designs and reviews :)
The other day I went into TKMax and I wanted to look at there bags and swim stuff. Of course I went and looked the the beauty stuff and I found Color Club!!! YES I FOUND COLOR CLUB IN THE UK!!!
I though I would share this with you incase you ever wanted to pick up some Color cub nail polish as they are normall only sold in the US.
These where the polishes I found, I thought id show you so you could see what you might be able to pick up :)

Sorry if this photo’s are not great they where taken on my phone… I hope you found this blog post as exiting as I did and go and check out you local TKMaxx and see if you can find any exciting nail polish brands.
The other day I was clearing out some of my make up and found this old gold eye liner. I noticed that it had dried up but thought i could use it for my nail art as it had a brush applicator. I found it was the perfect nail art brush and works really well for a striper brush to.

This is the result I got when using the eyeliner brush for my nail art. (please ignore the chipped nails I had no other photo of nail art using this brush)

I hope you all enjoyed this and found it helpful. Why not check out your make up collection and see if you have an old eye liner you could use for nail art.
This is a small collective haul of some cool polishes and tools I have picked up in the last couple of months. When I say smell I mean 6 things that where mainly gifts from my family.
Avon - My grandma was lovely enough to pick me up this amazing double ended tool. It has both a dotting tool and a nail art brush. I have already been using it and its really nice to use.

She also gave me this lovely lime green nail polish and we have a family joke of it being grotty green. My aunty also bought some nail polish and picked up this royal/ink blue shade. however after wearing once she decided it was not really her color and gave it to me :)

Barry M - My mum picked up this colour for her self too but after discovering it changes colour with a top coat she decided it was not for her and gave it to me :) I love the concept behind this polish and will be doing a more indepth post soon :)

I hope you enjoyed this little haul. This is a little but of a filler post as I have not really had time to paint my nails a lot but don’t worry I have a few post planed :)
So this nail art design as been along time coming. I had time of school for the Easter hols but spend most of my time doing course work so my blog got put to one side for the two weeks. But I am back with this cute design :)
I have chosen to do Arial’s purple shell top and her beautiful tail :)

I hope you all enjoyed this nail design and if you give it ago show me on Twitter @ninjanails :)
This weekend it was the final of the 6 Nations and I was lucky enough to go and see Wales vs England live. The final score was Wales 30 and England 3. I support Wales so chose to do Wales themes nails :)
On the index middles and ring finger I had Wales vs England involving each countries flag (the dragon is not my best work). On the thumb I had a daffodil and WRU on the pinkie finger.

I hope you all enjoyed these nails and the game if you watched it :)
I managed to pick up two of the Barry M Textured Nail Effect from Superdrug the other week. I actually ordered these before there release date but have only just got around to doing this :(
Each polish costs £3.99 and allow you to create a texture effect on your nails sort of like concrete. I picked up TNP 2 Station Road (the yellow) and TNP 3 Kingsland Road (the pink). I really wanted the yellow one so that I could have a sand effect on my nails which I plan on using a lot in the summer :)

When applying this polish I did not add a top coat as I did not want to take away the textured effect so these pictures are taken with 2-3 coats of polish on top of a base coat. This nail polish is think but it does have the particles in it so I can see why it is. Also you may not see the effect straight away so make sure you let your nails dry fully.
I have found these nail polishes very durable and give a unique effect for every day :) I also think these are really worth the money especially compared to the Nails Inc versions.
What is your opinion on this new nail effect? Make sure you all come back soon to see some nail art involving these textured nail effects :)
